CCMA Mission Trips 2019
Cambodia (Chinese Congregation)
In December of 2019, a team of 7 from our Chinese congregation went to Cambodia to collaborate with our Cambodian Alliance sister church. It was a fruitful ministry for both our team and the churches we partnered with in Cambodia. We first went to work with an Alliance Church in Siem Reap, Cambodia where we helped prepare the ground work for a new pergola structure to replace their (very) old one. The new structure was to be used as a kitchen and dining area for their church to support big events of up to 500 people.
After finishing this labour-intensive task, we moved on to visit a couple of remote village churches and gospel stations where we met many local residents who had never been to the nearby larger towns in their lives. We were fortunate enough to share the gospel with them and preached the Word of God in their Christmas services.
To us, it was a blessing because we were able to raise sufficient money at our own church to support the new pergola project before set off for Cambodia and while we were there, we would see so many thirsty hearts living in remote areas of the country.

我深信大家都很熟識以下這兩節經文：「所以，你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗。凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」（太28:19-20）基督耶穌的使命是要我們去使萬民作祂的門徒，就是叫我們將主基督救贖的好消息，跨越地域的傳給萬族萬民，使人人得救。所以，宣講福音不單是限於本地，也是把福音傳到海外。
每當提到宣教事奉，一般人的反應都是聽而卻歩，不願深入了解和參與，原因各有不同，例如：家庭、事業、穩定的生活、身處安舒區內，不想放棄安逸的環境等等。大家可想多一點，宣教事奉，不一定是要你離鄕別井成為宣教士。能否成為宣教士是神的心意，而不是你的意願。在此，盼望大家不以自己的情況去看宣教事奉，而是以宣教事工的目標來看重宣教事奉。我們要認同宣教事奉的重要，因為是神給我們的使命，因此，我們需要了解、明白及對宣教事奉採取行動。
在2019年12月，我參加教會舉辦的短期宣教體驗團隊，往柬蒲寨體驗宣教事奉。感謝神，透過宣教士的分享，讓我認識當地的文化、習俗、宗教、禮儀、社會民生、國家歴史，與及宣教士在當地宣教事奉上如何適應異國生活中所遇到的重重困難；他們每次都經歷神的同在、保守和帶頌。此時，我想神真是無處不在，不單只在我們教會𥚃，也隨時與宣教士同在。因為，宣教士的順服和倚靠，願意委身事奉神，聽從和跟隨神的主旨，全然將自己獻給神，正如保羅的教導：「將身體獻上，當作活祭」。宣教士在傳福音的事工上辛勞的栽種，神又將他們所栽種的使之成長和結下果實。在此次體驗中，神給我有份參觀宣教士為當地信主弟兄姊妹的洗禮安排，在湄公河裏接受浸禮；他們從浸入河水及至到從河水中起來的一刻，我看見他們臉上的喜樂，實在難以用筆墨來形容。此刻，我又想起施洗約翰為基督耶穌受浸的情景，同時想起基督耶穌給我們的大便命，要我們去使萬民作祂的門徒這一句話。
今次參與短期宣教體驗團之後，讓我對宣教事奉的認識從膚淺變成深入，使我更了解和明白，以至我重視宣教事工。請大家記住，參加短期宣教體驗團隊，並不是使你一定會成為宣教士，而是給你有一個機會重新認識宣教事工是甚麼？神是掌管一切，沒有神的應許，誰也不能作甚麼？不是你想成為宣教士，神就一定選中你。我不知道你對宣教事工有多少認識？在你心中有否重視宣教事工呢？但是，我希望在此透過我的短期宣教體驗分享，鼓勵大家積極參與宣教事工，以至我們一同關心、一同支持宣教事奉。最後，我以太9:37 「要收的莊稼多，做工的人少。」與詩歌：「恩典太美麗」的最後兩句歌詞：「請觀看稻田，主的莊稼在面前，遼闊收成沒法估計！忠於使命，不惜一切來回應，能事奉你是最尊貴！」來與大家一同共勉。

Indonesia (English Congregation)
It was a blessing for our English congregation to go on a short term mission trip to Indonesia. The ministries we were able to do there for the Lord were preaching, children’s ministry, and education among many others. We also visited so many houses where they were so hospitable and we were able to have prayer and sharing time with them. It was indeed a tiring over a week of ministry for our Living God but a fruitful one knowing that we have shared His love to His people in Samarinda.
